Studios also allows you to link a container template from a public or private hosted registry as your container source.

What’s new with Studio’s GA?
With the release of Seqera Studios into general availability, we are excited to introduce a range of new features designed to enhance the user experience further through greater flexibility, control, and privacy.
Session lifespan management
Studios now gives administrators control over session lifespans, allowing them to set durations of up to 120 hours. Administrators can choose automatic termination after the specified lifespan, preventing sessions from running indefinitely and incurring extra costs while fully preserving ongoing work.

Support for resource labeling
Resource labeling improves searchability and organization, making it easier to track and manage resources. Studios now supports resource labeling, enabling users to efficiently categorize and monitor compute resources.

Private sessions
Many users prefer to develop privately or in a sandbox environment. In Studios, private sessions can be optionally enabled for an isolated interactive analysis experience. This new feature allows users to create a private Studio that is locked to the individual—only the session creator can connect and access it, providing a secure, personal sandbox for experimentation and exploration.
