Join us in welcoming the first cohort of 2025 Nextflow Ambassadors

As we kick off 2025, I am thrilled to welcome a new cohort of ambassadors to the Nextflow Ambassador Program. This new vibrant group joins the dedicated Nextflow Ambassadors who are continuing their remarkable work from the previous year. Together, they form a diverse and talented team, representing a variety of countries and backgrounds, encompassing both industry and academia.

A diverse and inclusive cohort

This year, I am proud to announce that our ambassadors hail from over 35 countries, reflecting the increasingly global reach and inclusive nature of the Nextflow community. This is almost a 100% increase compared to our last cohort in the second half of 2024. There has historically been a strong presence of Nextflow in the US and in Europe, so I would like to extend an especially warm welcome to the ambassadors in countries outside these regions: Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, Chile, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Lybia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Africa, Taiwan, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates. From seasoned bioinformaticians to emerging data scientists, our ambassadors bring a wealth of expertise and unique perspectives to the program.

Looking ahead in 2025

This year promises to be an exciting period of growth and innovation for the Nextflow Ambassador Program. Our ambassadors are set to ensure that people worldwide know Nextflow and have all the support they need to use it to advance the field of computational biology, among other things. I look forward to seeing the incredible work that will emerge from this talented group.
