We’ve redesigned the Run details page to make real-time workflow tracking and troubleshooting more intuitive. You can now access container usage metrics, build provenance information, comprehensive logs, and security scan results directly within Seqera Platform. Key improvements include:
- Real-time progress tracking: A new progress bar provides a clear, dynamic view of pipeline execution as it happens.
- Centralized run information: A dedicated Run info tab consolidates run metadata and status details in one place.
- Streamlined navigation: Improved tabs for Tasks, Logs, Metrics, and Containers make it easier to find what you need.
Streamlined Cloud Compute Environments
Our new AWS Cloud and GCP compute environments deliver faster, simpler to manage compute instances to execute Nextflow pipelines and run Studio sessions. These environments are specifically optimized for small to medium pipelines and Studios, delivering faster startup times, simplified configuration, and fewer dependencies for AWS and GCP cloud compute environments.
Studios: Cloud flexibility and streamlined configuration options
Studios introduces powerful new deployment options and development capabilities, from streamlined in-platform pipeline development to ARM64 and Spot instance support.
Develop pipelines in-platform
Studios allows you to develop and troubleshoot Nextflow pipelines directly within the platform using Docker-in-Docker in AWS Cloud compute environments. This containerization allows you to run Nextflow directly in VS Code Studios with full container support, streamlining pipeline development workflows.
Enhanced Cloud support
Studios can now be deployed on GCP, expanding your cloud options beyond AWS. The new AWS Cloud and GCP compute environments also now support ARM64 architecture and Spot instances, allowing you to launch Studios on high-performance ARM64, while taking advantage of cost-effective Spot instances.
Environment variable support
Studios now supports custom environment variables during session creation, allowing you to define per-session variables when creating new Studio environments for greater control over your development setup.
Flexible deployment model
Studios now supports path-based routing with fixed domains. This eliminates the need for dynamic subdomains and wildcard certificates, instead using a single domain with path-based session routing. Additionally, custom Studio domains can be configured to meet specific organizational requirements
Fusion: Snapshots, usage dashboard, and licensing
Fusion introduces several significant enhancements in this release, including support for Snapshots that enable seamless recovery from AWS Spot instance interruptions, improved usage monitoring capabilities, and streamlined licensing management:
- Snapshots for AWS Spot instances: Fusion Snapshots automatically create checkpoints of running Nextflow processes and restore them on new instances when AWS Spot instances are reclaimed, eliminating the need to restart entire tasks from scratch.
- Usage monitoring dashboard: New dashboard provides comprehensive Fusion usage tracking by workspace across all pipeline runs, giving you clear visibility into throughput and quota consumption.
- Automated license management: Seqera Platform now automatically resolves and manages Fusion licenses based on monthly Nextflow I/O throughput, with a 100 TB monthly free tier for Seqera Cloud users
GxP-aligned audit logs
This release strengthens security and compliance capabilities with expanded audit logging, providing organizations with comprehensive traceability and controls aligned with GxP requirements for regulated environments. This includes audit log extensions where pipeline run user actions and Datasets are now included in the audit trail, along with improved API performance and IPv6 support for enhanced audit log management.
