Nextflow Training Week - Self-Paced Online Training for Beginners

Join us for our first Nextflow Training Week of 2026! This beginner-friendly training is designed for those new to workflow management and computational pipelines. Featuring on-demand walkthrough videos and support via office hours and the Seqera Community Forum, this flexible format allows learners to start anytime during the week and get timely help from our staff and the global Nextflow community.

Start your journey with our foundational course "Hello Nextflow" through on-demand walkthrough videos that will guide you step-by-step through core concepts. Once you've mastered the basics, explore specialized follow-on tutorials tailored for specific research domains (RNA-Seq and Imaging), or explore more advanced capabilities of the language through the Side Quests.

Throughout the week, participants will work through one or more courses on the Nextflow training portal. The course uses GitHub Codespaces as a free, ready-to-use training environment, eliminating the need for software installation and configuration—only a web browser and a GitHub account are required. Learn at your own pace: Instructor-led videos will be available on YouTube, guiding you through key Nextflow concepts.

Get live support: Our staff and Nextflow Ambassadors across multiple time zones will be available to answer questions in the Community Forum and on Zoom office hours.

Work as a group: We encourage teams, labs, and local groups to work through the course together virtually or in person

Certificate opportunity: Register and complete the end-of-week quizzes to earn official completion certificates and demonstrate your newly acquired workflow management skills.
