Seqera Achieves SOC 2 Type II Attestation

We’re excited to share that Seqera is now SOC 2 Type II attested—a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to security, trust, and compliance.

What is SOC 2?

System and Organization Controls 2 (SOC 2) is a rigorous auditing framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). It evaluates how service providers manage customer data, with a strong focus on security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. A Type I report assesses the design of security controls at a specific point in time, while Type II goes a step further: validating that those controls were operational and effective over a defined period.
