Introducing the Tower Cloud Community Workspace

A ready-to-go analysis environment with gold-standard nf-core pipelines

Tower Cloud is a hosted instance of Nextflow Tower available at https://tower.nf. It provides one-click access to try Tower’s capabilities and enables users to monitor, launch and manage Nextflow pipelines in their on-premise or cloud environments. You can now get the complete Tower experience in a ready-to-go environment, pre-loaded community pipelines, and 100 hours of free compute. This makes it possible to get started in collaborating across organizations by securely sharing pipelines and Compute Environments.

Collaborative Workspaces in any environment

We have launched many new features in Nextflow Tower recently, but we are particularly excited about the latest Community Showcase Workspace.

• Workspaces allow communities, organizations, and teams to collaborate in launching and monitoring workflow runs, pre-configured pipelines, datasets, and different compute resources;

• When you sign in to Nextflow Cloud for the first time, you are automatically added to the Community Workspace;

• To open the Community Workspace, click on the down arrow beside your username and select the Community / Showcase.

Out-of-box pipelines

The Community Showcase workspace comes pre-loaded with selected nf-core pipelines, many of which are widely accepted as the gold standard for bioinformatics analysis. We also provide 100 hours of compute time in a pre-configured AWS Batch environment for users to pilot launching pipelines on Nextflow Tower. Your feedback here is invaluable, so please feel free to contact us with suggestions and improvements.
