Raúl Alcántara

Senior Bioinformatics Engineer at Quotient Therapeutics

Raúl Alcántara is a Biophysicist by training. He started working in bioinformatics at the CNAG sequencing centre in Barcelona as a Production Bioinformatician. After which he spent several years at the Sanger Institute in the cancer & ageing (CASM) division as a Senior Software Developer. He joined Quotient Therapeutics in 2023 as a Senior Bioinformatics Engineer in charge of the data processing pipelines.

Steve Marshall

Senior Data Scientist at Flagship Pioneering

Stephen (Steve) Marshall is Senior Director of Bioinformatics at Flagship Pioneering. Steve brings 25 years of experience in life science, spending his time at the intersection of biology and technology. His responsibilities include assisting Flagship and its companies with data visualization, data analysis and data strategy as well as building the data science community. Prior to joining Flagship, he spent several years as an independent consultant helping biotech startups with data analysis and cloud infrastructure. Steve has a B.S. in Biochemistry from Carleton University and an M.S. in Bioinformatics from Brandeis.
