Seqera exists to make complex scientific data analysis accessible at any scale. Empowering scientists with modern software engineering for data analysis
We provide software for scientists solving today's most complex and important challenges from pioneering innovative therapeutics to unveiling the secrets of our universe. The journey began a decade ago with Nextflow — open software that helps over 100,000 global scientists analyze and process data, with more power and flexibility than ever before.
Today, Seqera consolidates fragmented data and diverse computing resources into a unified platform. Our modern biotech stack is trusted by over 150 leading life sciences organizations. Empowered with modern software engineering, organizations conduct science faster, on larger datasets, and with more confidence. Seqera accelerates discoveries in an open world.

About the role
We’re looking for a Developer Advocate to help our Community Team nurture and grow the Nextflow community, with a focus on driving growth and engagement in the UK and Europe.
Our team’s mission is to empower scientists by giving them tools, leveling up their skills and helping them form a support network of peers and mentors that will help them be successful. We have tons of scientific and technical expertise, but at heart, we are educators and community organizers first. We are deeply collaborative, we think a lot about how to scale our efforts and develop strategic partnerships to increase our positive impact, and our success is ultimately measured by the success of the community we support.

Organize and execute impactful community events, leading to a significant increase in participation and positive feedback.
Deliver compelling presentations and demos that effectively promote the technical merits of Nextflow, nf-core and other Seqera products, resulting in increased adoption and usage.
Develop training materials and conduct training sessions to increase technical fluency and self-sufficiency among community members.
Assist in providing timely and accurate technical support, resulting in a high satisfaction rate and a decrease in unresolved technical queries.
Stay informed about the latest developments in bioinformatics, genomics and related disciplines, resulting in the ability to engage deeply with the community at a scientific level.
Be the ‘voice of the community’ by providing feedback to internal teams at Seqera regarding e.g. usability and brand reputation and advocating for improvements that would benefit the community.
